Therapy Through Life’s Transitions

Trauma Informed Therapies

Life experiences can affect us in ways that are sometimes difficult to understand or carry alone. Trauma informed therapies offer a space to explore experiences that may still be affecting how you feel, relate to others, or move through the world.

My approach draws on my background as a clinical psychologist alongside a deep commitment to relational, compassionate care. Trauma informed work recognises that difficult experiences can affect the nervous system, our sense of safety, and how we understand ourselves. Rather than focusing on fixing or diagnosing, the work centres on creating a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship where healing can gradually unfold.

People come to therapy for many reasons. Some arrive with experiences of trauma they want to process. Others are navigating grief, identity changes, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, or periods where life feels overwhelming or uncertain.

In our work together we move at a pace that feels manageable. The aim is not to force change but to create the conditions where understanding, resilience, and new ways of relating to yourself can begin to emerge.

Sessions offer space to reflect, make sense of experiences, and reconnect with a sense of steadiness in your life.

Book in bi-weekly, weekly or fortnightly therapy sessions for as long as you need me. Sessions cost £165 per 50 minute session, and there is a 10% discount for block booking 10 sessions or more.

Alternatively, you can book intensive sessions. These three hour sessions are intended to more quickly treat trauma symptoms or stabilise more intense distress. They cost £500 per session and are often booked on consecutive days.

If you’re happy to go ahead, book an assessment session with me using your personalised link which will have been emailed to you. These take 90 minutes and cost £250 and might cover your current difficulties, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, your personal history and your cultural and political context. There’s no pressure to share anything you don’t want to and we’ll go at your pace
