My Process
Discover a gentle approach to healing through psychological and practical support, mindful movement, and compassionate guidance tailored to your unique journey.
Assessment
I offer gentle, attachment-focused and trauma-informed assessment, centred on you. No rushing, no judgement, just a warm, careful space to make sense of your experiences and find the right way forward. This is followed by a session to share my understanding and recommendations.
Step 1
Stabilisation and education
I help you feel safe, supported and steady. Together we build a foundation of comfort, trust and practical tools for calming your body and mind. I'll also share clear, jargon-free information about what you're experiencing, whether that's what to expect in pregnancy, birth or the process of dying, so nothing feels confusing or out of your control.
Step 2
Intervention and processing
Once you feel ready, and only then, we move into the deeper work. At a pace that feels manageable, we make space to explore and process difficult experiences, feelings and relationship patterns. For doula clients, this might mean working through fears, past experiences or big decisions, culminating in meeting the threshold of life. For therapy clients, it's understanding what's happened and finding new ways of relating to it. You're always in the driver's seat, and we can pause or slow down whenever you need.
Integration
Finally, we bring it all together. In birth and in therapy this stage is about carrying your growth forward with confidence, and feeling equipped, resourced and more like yourself as you move into whatever comes next. When I’m working at the end of life this stage is about supporting those you leave behind with ritual, ceremony, but most of all kindness.
