One-to-One Therapy
Healing that begins with feeling safe
A steady place to be heard
Some things that hurt us happened in relationships. Some happened in hospitals, clinics and moments when we needed care and did not receive it. Both can leave a mark on the body, on trust, and on how safe it feels to be alive.
I am a therapist who specialises in attachment, attachment trauma, and iatrogenic (medical) harm. My work is embodied, trauma-informed and person-centred. We go at your pace, and your body is part of the conversation.
Who Can Benefit from One-to-One Therapy?
You might be here because:
Close relationships feel difficult, frightening or exhausting
You learned early that your needs were too much, or not welcome
You have had a medical experience that changed how you trust doctors, your body, or yourself
You feel anxious, flat, overwhelmed or disconnected, and talking alone has not been enough
My Process
Therapy with me is an attuned space, either in person or online, for people with attachment wounds, relational trauma, and the impact of medical harm. You do not have to prove that what happened was bad enough. You will be believed here.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
WHAT TO EXPECT?
-
We build safety first. You learn how trauma and attachment shape the nervous system, and we find tools that help you feel steadier.
-
When you are ready, we work with the experiences and patterns that need attention, using the body as well as words.
-
We help the changes take root in your relationships, your choices and your daily life.
-
Sessions are £165 in person, or £145 online. I offer reduced rates for those in financial hardship and am registered with Bupa and WPA health insurance.
-
Booking is simple. You can book a discovery call through the appointment link on this website, or send me a message via email or the contact form.
-
Simply come as you are. Wear comfortable clothing, find a quiet space if you're joining online, and bring an open mind. Everything else will be guided during our time together.
-
Sessions are 50 minutes long, with 10 minutes for administration. There is no set timeline for therapy, but I offer both short focussed interventions and long term psychotherapy.
-
I see therapy clients during school hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I only work term times, as well as limited hours in the summer holidays. I keep my caseload low so I can give all the people I support the best possible care, and sometimes operate a small waiting list.
